How long does a refund take?

Reviewed

The decision usually takes a few working days. Getting the money back to you after that depends on how you paid.

The decision

We aim for a few working days from the ticket. It takes longer when we need the seller's side of the story, which is common and is a normal part of the process rather than a sign that anything is wrong. You will hear the outcome and the reasoning either way.

Then the money

  • Domzivo wallet: immediate. This is the fastest route by a wide margin, and the balance can be spent here straight away.
  • Card: typically five to ten working days, set by your bank rather than by us. Once we have released it, the timing is out of our hands.
  • Bank transfer: usually a few working days.

A refund is limited to what you paid for that item, and we may issue it to your original payment method or as credit to your Domzivo wallet, whichever we judge appropriate.

Why the card wait

A card refund travels back through the same chain that took the payment, and each step adds time. On some statements it appears as a reversal of the original charge rather than as a new credit, which is why people sometimes miss it. Check the date of the original purchase, not just the last few days.

If it has been longer than that

If the money has not arrived two weeks after we told you it was approved, come back to us on the same ticket. We can give you the reference to take to your bank, which is usually what resolves it.
